A 13 CD box set, called Delectus: The Polydor & Vertigo Recordings • 1973-1985, features all of Vangelis‘ Vertigo and Polydor albums newly remastered (from the original first generation master tapes) ever under the legendary composer’s own supervision.

The 13 albums: Earth, L’Apocalypse Des Animaux, China, See You Later, Antarctica, Mask, Opera Sauvage, Chariots of Fire, Soil Festivities and Invisible Connections.
Delectus also features recordings with Jon Anderson as ‘Jon & Vangelis’. These are Short Stories, The Friends of Mister Cairo, and Private Collection.
Additionally, this set features four bonus tracks: "Neighbours Above" (previously unreleased), The other bonus tracks were earlier released on vinyl singles and have never appeared on CD before: "My love", "Domestic Logic 1" (on the See You Later disc) and "Song Is" (on the Jon & Vangelis disc: Private Collection) all previously unreleased on CD.

There's also a reproduction of a poster for the China album, folded three times.

And a beautiful LP sized hardcover book with 98 pages that contains essays and rare photos.
The 98 pages contain a small section for each album, with cover art and a few notes by Mark Powell.
For the rest, the book is filled with many page large photographs, from the period in which these albums were recorded. Most of the photographs have never before been seen and were recently selected from Vangelis' private archives.

Delectus is presented as an outer box which contain two large die-cut wallets to hold all of the discs.
